This page provides a directory of publicly available custom relay servers for use with RetroArch Netplay. Relay servers help players connect more reliably across different networks, especially when direct peer-to-peer connections are restricted.

Instructions

Using Custom Relay Servers in RetroArch

• Open RetroArch
• Go to Settings > Network
• Enable Use Relay Server
• Set Relay Server Location to Custom
• Enter the server IP in Custom Relay Server Address

Hosting a Custom Relay Server

• You need a Linux VPS and Python 3.7 or newer.
• Download the RetroArch netplay tunnel server from GitHub.
• Run the server script using:
  nohup python3 retroarch_tunnel_server.py &
• Submit your server IP below!
